MOHS
Meh. Today I am going to have a MOHS procedure to remove basal cell carcinoma from between my nose and my right eye. I haven’t been too worked up about it until today. Folks are very kind but I have gone from being okay with a temporary sexy pirate look (read: eyepatch) to being alarmed by “well-wishers” who are sharing horror stories about similar procedures that left their aunt’s second cousin twice removed disfigured ala Elephant Man.
I am grounded for 48 hours and and chafing under that restraint, too. I need to adjust my attitude so that I am thinking of it as a respite in the craziness of this quarter.
Everything is going to be just fine.
