I Cherish You.

Of all possessions a friend is the most precious.

Herodotus

The Father of History has nailed it. As we continue to swirl around in this whirlpool of ‘Rona madness, it is easy to allow the veil to descend (or the mask, at any rate) and separate us from the people we would normally see. I move in my little microcosm, scuttling from one “project” to another so as to stay busy and not reflect on the shark of Isolation that circles my little tidal pool. I try to reach out in small ways…texts, for example, but sometimes that takes extraordinary energy, just to lift my phone for the task. So, typical of my own tendencies, I wonder what else could I do to let people know they aren’t alone and that I am thinking of them and praying for them? I am still working that out, but if you are reading this, please know that you are precious to me and I cherish the stories that we have written together. I will figure out how to let you know better than I have to date.

And I look forward to the stories we have not yet written.
