Post Op Care

So I worked from home all of last week. I found it difficult to maintain my routine (obviously, since I haven’t posted in days).

Gunner has been a very good patient, only rarely contorting himself around his cone to investigate the insult to his body. He did manage to lick off the surgical glue that was holding it all together, but a quick visit to the vet revealed that there’s nothing to worry about, but, “here’s some more anti-inflammatory/pain meds” for the lad, as well as an OINTMENT and some very amusing instructions to use a pair of boxers as a guard against future licking. I’m sure he’ll look very, um FETCHING, in his boxers.

Anyway, the pups (I have Lucy today, too) go back to their papas today…and Luna will probably take two or three days to stop huffing and rolling her eyes at me over the week’s intrusion.

I acquire new skills and knowledge every single day.
