May her memory bring blessings to the people.

It is easier…maybe LESS HARD to sleep at night knowing that, despite the craziness of all this craziness, there is someone with wit and sensibility and a steady hand in place to keep at least two of the wheels on the ground. I am sad that we have lost one more pair of those hands. Now it feels like we are getting ready to slide into a roll-over crash.

I am grateful for what she did and gave and sacrificed so that things could be better and less hard for people in general, and women in particular. I wish her peace in the next chapter. I wish us peace, too. I hope we have record-breaking voting…I hope only the BEST person is selected for the empty chair…BOTH the chairs.

I wonder what it would be like if our government wasn’t the three-ring circus it is now. I wonder what it would be like to have my elected representatives actually represent me. I wonder…

I am grateful for this card-carrying Badass. I wonder how I can help continue her work.
