Granola
3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
3 TBS packed brown sugar
1 TBS cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c vegetable oil
1/3 c honey
1 tsp vanilla
nuts/seeds/dried fruit
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Spread a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
In a large bowl mix oats, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. In a small lidded jar add oil, honey, and vanilla. Close the jar and shake it until the ingredients are well blended. Drizzle over the oat mixture and mix well. Spread mixture evenly on the parchment paper. Cook for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and add any nuts or seeds you’d like and stir into the mixture. Be sure to spread it out evenly. Return to oven for 15 more minutes. Remove from oven and stir in dried fruit. The granola will harden as it cools. Store in an airtight container.
