Fried Chicken

Buttermilk

2c flour

1 cup cornmeal

2 pkgs Good Seasons powdered Italian dressing mix

salt/pepper to taste

2 TBL cayenne powder

4 chicken breasts (I cut them into nuggets)

cooking oil

place chicken breasts (or pieces) in a bowl and cover with buttermilk.

Mix dry ingredients together.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or frying pan (oil should be two inches deep in the pan).

Roll pieces of buttermilk-soaked chicken in dry mixture and put in oil. In a deep fryer, cook for about 8 minutes. In a frying pan, cook four minutes, turn, cook four more minutes.
