Alfredo Sauce

1/2 butter or margarine

2 TBL cream cheese

1 pint heavy cream

1 tsp garlic powder

salt and black pepper to taste

2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

In a medium saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese. When melted and mixed, add heavy cream and season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes over low heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan.
