Black Bean Soup

3 cans of black beans

1 medium sized jar of picante sauce

12 ounces Shiner (or beer of your choosing) or water

Open and drain two cans of beans and put into a blender. Add the picante sauce and pulse until pureed. Add beer/water and blend until you get a nice consistency. Put pureed beans into a sauce pan to heat. Rinse the third can of beans and add to pot. Cook on medium heat until heated through. Garnish with shredded cheddar, sour cream, green onions, more picante sauce.
